Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices for this web site (the “Site”). To make this information easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where information is requested. This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 14, 2010.

JMI Management, Inc. (“JMI”) may collect various types of information about users of the Site. For example, JMI may collect information about how users use the Site (such as pages visited, time spent on each page and so forth). Except for those limited partners (“LPs”) accessing the “Limited Partner Access” pages of the Site or those individuals submitting a business plan to JMI through use of the Site, (a) JMI does not collect any personally identifiable information such as names, home addresses or e-mail addresses; and (b) “cookies” will not be used in connection with the operation of this Site.
In the case of LPs accessing the “Limited Partner Access” pages of the Site, the personally identifiable information collected by JMI is only used to verify that the LP is authorized to access the “Limited Partner Access” pages of the Site. All personally identifiable information obtained by us from LPs through this Site shall be treated in accordance with the Privacy Notices issued by JMI to its LPs in accordance with 17 C.F.R. §§ 248.4-248.6 and 16 C.F.R. §§ 314.4-314.6 and any other LP privacy policy enacted by JMI. A copy of such Privacy Notices and all other LP privacy policies are available to JMI’s LPs upon request.
In the case of individuals providing any personally identifiable information, including names, telephone numbers and email addresses, to JMI while submitting a business plan through the Site, JMI shall not distribute or otherwise share such personally identifiable information to third parties with whom we are not affiliated, except as authorized by 17 C.F.R. §§ 248.14-248.15 or 16 C.F.R. §§ 314.14-15.
Individuals submitting a business plan to JMI through the Site must not submit any information or other materials that you consider to be confidential or proprietary. Due to the large number of business plans and related materials submitted through the Site, JMI cannot accept responsibility, and expressly disclaims responsibility, for protecting against misuse or disclosure of any confidential or proprietary information or other materials, except for the personally identifiable information described herein, in the absence of JMI’s express written agreement to do so.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site. This Site may contain links to other web sites not operated or controlled by JMI (the “Third-Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third-Party Sites. The links from this Site do not imply that JMI endorses or has reviewed the Third-Party Sites.
