Our Team

Bob NyePrincipal

Bob Nye joined JMI in 2005 and is based in Baltimore, Maryland.  His primary areas of investment focus are Internet and enterprise software.  Bob is currently a Director of Appriss, DoubleVerify and Harmony Information Systems and is a Board observer at Paradigm.  He also supports the firm’s investments in Adknowledge, Axeda, BrightLine and Undertone.  Bob also sits on the Board of the Young Atlantic Venture Association (YAVA).

Prior to joining JMI, Bob was a Consultant with Bates White, an economic consulting firm focused on econometric and statistical modeling.

Bob received an AB in Economics and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University.
