As part of JMI’s Operating Team, Kyle partners with portfolio companies to accelerate AI innovation, build scalable data infrastructure, and enhance JMI’s internal AI capabilities. He brings over a decade of experience designing and deploying machine learning systems, distributed computing frameworks, and AI-driven personalization platforms. Before joining JMI, Kyle was a Senior Data Engineer at Spotify, where he led data engineering for the personalization and conversational AI teams, developing large-scale reinforcement learning and generative recommendation systems. Earlier in his career, he held multiple software leadership roles at high-growth startups, where he architected and implemented cloud-native, high-throughput data systems.
