Charles NoellFounder and Venture Partner
Charlie Noell co-founded JMI in 1992 and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently a Director of Authentify, Inc., Axeda Corporation, JME Software, L.L.C. and NEON Enterprise Software, Inc.
Since late 1991, Charlie has been the President of the family investment company of John J. Moores, the Founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BMC Software, Inc. Prior to 1991, Charlie was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Alex. Brown’s Technology Group. He was also an Investment Associate in the Treasury Division of American Security Bank and at Pittsburgh National Bank.
Charlie received a BA in History from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
