Celebrating Excellence: JMI’s Maggie Schmitt and Dina Berdichevsky Named to GrowthCap’s 2025 Top Women Leaders in Growth Investing

Now in its fifth year, GrowthCap’s annual recognition highlights the extraordinary impact of women who are shaping the future of growth investing. This marks Maggie Schmitt’s fourth consecutive appearance on the prestigious list, a testament to her continued leadership and influence. This is Dina Berdichevsky’s second appearance on the list, highlighting her growing impact and significant contributions to the growth investing landscape. Honorees were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of each nominee’s career achievements, depth of experience, and feedback from colleagues and portfolio company CEOs. Their inclusion on this year’s list not only reflects their individual excellence, but also the broader impact of JMI’s leadership in advancing innovation within the growth investing ecosystem.
Maggie Schmitt, Partner and Chief Financial Officer, leads JMI’s accounting, finance, tax, and treasury functions. She joined the firm in 2009 as a senior accountant from Deloitte’s audit and enterprise risk services practice and has steadily advanced through a series of leadership roles at JMI. Over the years, Maggie has been instrumental in key areas including fundraising, portfolio company oversight, limited partner reporting, and overall firm operations. She is a certified public accountant (inactive).
Dina Berdichevsky, Vice President, joined JMI in 2019 and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. She currently serves as a director at Unanet and works closely with several JMI portfolio companies, including Employee Navigator, SimpliGov, Huntress, and Incident IQ. Prior to JMI, Dina was an investment banking analyst at DC Advisory.
