As a member of JMI’s Operating Team and Head of Data Science, Tyler leads the firm’s efforts to help portfolio companies and investment professionals harness the power of artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making. He has spent his career solving complex business problems with mathematics and statistics—initially as a data scientist, and later as an entrepreneur and investor. Tyler partners closely with management teams to identify strategic AI opportunities, accelerate adoption, and translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes. He also works with JMI’s investment professionals to develop AI and statistical solutions for prospecting, diligence, and market intelligence analysis.
